La transmisión de los Golden Globes regresó a NBC después de que la red se negara a transmitirla el año pasado a raíz de una exposición de Los Angeles Times en 2021 que reveló que la HFPA no tenía miembros negros y se había involucrado en conductas poco éticas y prácticas financieras sospechosas.
